Intended Use

This device is intended for measuring blood glucose levels to assist in diabetes management. Results should be used as part of an overall diabetes care plan established by a healthcare professional.


User Instructions
Step 1: Wash and Dry Hands
Wash hands thoroughly with soap and warm water.
Dry completely before testing.
Clean testing area if necessary.
Step 2: Prepare the Lancing Device
Remove the cap from the lancing device.
Insert a new sterile lancet.
Twist off the protective lancet cover.
Replace the lancing device cap.
Select the desired puncture depth.
Step 3: Insert Test Strip
Insert a TRUE METRIX test strip into the meter.
The meter will power on automatically.
Wait until the blood drop symbol appears.
Step 4: Obtain a Blood Sample
Press the lancing device against the side of a fingertip.
Press the release button.
Gently massage the finger if needed to form a blood drop.
Step 5: Apply Blood Sample
Touch the edge of the test strip to the blood drop.
Allow the strip to draw the sample automatically.
Do not smear blood onto the strip.
Step 6: Read Results
Wait for the meter to process the sample.
Blood glucose results will appear on the display within seconds.
Record results if desired.
Step 7: Dispose of Used Materials
Remove the used lancet safely.
Dispose of lancets according to local sharps disposal regulations.
Discard used test strips appropriately.

Care and Maintenance
Cleaning
Wipe the exterior of the meter with a soft, slightly damp cloth.
Do not immerse the meter in water.
Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.

Storage
Store in the provided carrying case.
Keep away from extreme heat, cold, and humidity.
Protect from direct sunlight.
Battery
Replace the battery when the low-battery indicator appears.
Follow manufacturer instructions for battery replacement.
